For a general overview of Amplifund, click here.  For Colleges and Universities, AmpliFund allows for the coordination, tracking and monitoring of activities for all aspects of a grant between your Development office, Grant Management Office and the Professor or Staff responsible for implementing the grant. By allowing for the development of an implementation plan that can be allocated to specific end-users with password-specific access, the University can create a secure, standard web portal through which all those responsible for grant outcomes can report grant results. These results can then roll-up through multiple levels from departmental to division to the University as a whole, and link to operational or strategic goals.

The budget can also be allocated, and actual expenses can be reported through the same web portal as the grant goals. Both the grant management and development offices have access to reports, allowing them to communicate both internally and externally to maximize current and future grant results. Expense management and goal completion reports can be accessed at anytime, displaying performance at any level – individual, department, and the overall University.

The AmpliFund planning process allows for the tracking of staff allocations across the University to ensure that staff/professors are not over allocated to grants. AmpliFund also helps the University understand which staff might be available to allocate to a specific grant, if staff time needs to be rearranged. AmpliFund allows for the linking of all expenses and revenues to GL accounts and will red-flag information that exceeds the GL spending rate.

In terms of the tracking of grant activity, AmpliFund allows for RFP identification to ensure that your grant office does not unknowingly submit multiple applications for a single RFP. Also, with the ability to plan for and monitor extension requests and matching requirements, AmpliFund ensures grants are never out-of-date.

The online polling module also provides the ability to distribute documents to grantees for electronic signature as well as providing the ability to complete and link client/outcome surveys to the grant file.
